Care Packages for Patients in Crisis
Sharing Hope Foundation was created when one woman found herself in need of a little hope of her own. After a difficult pregnancy confined her to bed rest for months, she set out to brighten the lives of others in similar situations with hand-crafted care packages.
A decade later, Sharing Hope Foundation has delivered thousands of care packages to women hospitalized with high-risk pregnancies and other bed-ridden patients.
VOLUNTEER
Sharing Hope offers several ways for volunteers to give their time to help those in need. The first is by sewing custom tote bags either on your own or as part of a group “sewing night.” Sharing Hope provides everything you need, including simple instructions, pre-cut fabric, and a sample bag. Secondly, volunteers can help assemble the final care packages before delivery. Contact us below for more information.
DONATE GOODS
Sharing Hope’s care packages are only possible because individuals and businesses help fill them with things like nail polish, chapstick, hand lotion, socks, knit caps, candy, pens, new fiction and nonfiction books, and adult activity books (Sudoku, word searches, crossword puzzles, adult coloring books, etc.). If you would like to donate you can contact us directly, or you can visit our wishlist here,
DONATE DOLLARS
Sharing Hope is 100% volunteer–run; that means it operates without any overhead. Every dollar you donate goes straight to our mission of brightening the lives of patients. And because the majority of our physical goods are donated, every $10 we receive actually helps us deliver one care package worth over $100. Click here to donate today.
